The Canopy Cut – February 2026: Quarterly GEDSI Resource Digest for MSD and PSE Practitioners
The Canopy Lab has released the February 2026 edition of The Canopy Cut, a quarterly curated digest of resources on Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) for market systems, private sector development and trade practitioners.
Drawing from public platforms including BEAM Exchange, DCED and LinkedIn, the Canopy Cut offers a practical, accessible overview of what's circulating in the field.
This edition covers resources across three thematic clusters:
Market Systems & PSD: highlights include a Swisscontact publication on facilitating GESI in MSD, a DCED synthesis note on care work and climate change, and a World Bank report on promoting women's leadership
Digital & Financial Inclusion: features resources on gender lens investing and AI, financial inclusion through e-commerce (CGAP), and mapping just transition finance in private credit and equity funds
Climate Resilience: includes an ILO guidance note on just transition and women's entrepreneurship development, an IFC report on women's employment in sustainable business in Viet Nam, and a framework on the climate-care nexus
