About us
The Economy and Education (E+E) network supports four interlinked economic and educational thematic priorities of SDC: Education (EDU), Vocational Skills Development (VSD), Private Sector Development (PSD) and Financial Sector Development (FSD). In addition, the E+E network seeks to promote the modality of Private Sector Engagement (PSE) across SDC’s entire portfolio to leverage the private sector’s expertise, innovation power and resources, and therefore, to increase the impact and sustainability of SDC’s programmes.
The E+E network is housed at the E+E section in SDC's Thematic Cooperation Division. The E+E section provides strategic and operational advice on inclusive economic development, education, and private sector engagement to all SDC units in the field and at HQ, promotes knowledge management and capacity building within the SDC through the facilitation of the E+E network, represents SDC in Swiss and international institutions and dialogue forums and implements its own E+E projects.
