VSD applies a holistic perspective with a broader range of outcomes beyond training, such as personal development, occupational competence and educational mobility. The evaluation was conducted by the company PEM Consult in 2024.
It undertook field visits in and desk studies on Albania, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Nepal, Niger, Serbia, Syria and Tanzania.
The evaluation report (and annexes in volume II) is now available. It presents the findings of this independent evaluation. It contains the lessons learnt and recommendations from the evaluators as well as the Senior Management Response of SDC's Directorate.
